This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else. That is why no consent banner interrupts a visit: with no non-essential storage in play, there is nothing to ask permission for.
What does get stored
One item gets written into the browser's own local storage. Local storage is not a cookie: it never travels with a request, and no server ever receives it.

Nothing gets written until the theme toggle actually gets pressed. Blocking storage entirely leaves the site fully usable: it simply follows the light or dark setting the device already has.
What the hosting provider records
Like any web server, the host records each request: IP address, time, page requested, and browser string. Those logs keep the site running and help spot abuse. They involve no cookie and no tracking across sites. The privacy policy covers them in full.
No third party scripts
Every script, style, font and image on this site is served from intelligentside.com itself. No advertising network, analytics service, social widget, embedded video, web font service or tag manager gets loaded. A strict content security policy on every page enforces this rather than merely promising it.
If measurement gets added later
Visitor measurement may get switched on at some point. If that happens:
- A notice appears first, and nothing loads until a choice gets made
- Declining is as easy as accepting, and a decline gets respected
- The choice gets recorded under the key
is-consent - This page gets updated to name the provider, the data involved, and its retention period
The measurement script cannot load ahead of consent: that ordering is built into the site code, not left to configuration.
Clearing what is stored
Every browser offers a way to clear site data. It usually sits under Settings, then Privacy, then a control named along the lines of clear browsing data or site settings. Clearing it for intelligentside.com removes the theme preference, and nothing else is affected.
